A manufacturing plant contacted Unger Technologies regarding high noise levels from a hydraulic pump unit located in the middle of their plant floor. Plant employees were being exposed to constant sound levels above 92 dBA from two hydraulic pump machines.
Unger Technologies solution was an open topped four sided sound curtain enclosure (see video). We supplied our rugged industrial sound curtains with a floor mounted steel support. We engineered a full 8' opening sliding sound curtain access door.
The sound reduction was measured at 14 decibels thus achieving the customerâs acoustic goals well below 85 dBA.

so i keep hearing this, i heard this phrase just now:
"..but do not recommend as a 'kid's horse' due to the lack of miles and wet blankets."
this has been driving me crazy!!! please help!
Just means that the horse was worked enough to sweat through the saddle blanket and leave it wet.
So they are basically saying the horse needs a good workout.
Lol, when I was pretty young and new to horses, I heard this the first time and thought that for some reason soaking a saddle pad first made the horse have to work harder or was some kind of preemptive punishment.

A county correctional complex had been enduring high noise levels in their first floor office area for approximately 10 years when they contacted Unger Technologies. The noise was emanating from a basement mechanical room located directly below the offices. After continuous complaints from administrative staff and officers, management decided to address the noise problem and called Unger Technologies.
It was determined that the primary noise generator was a large Liquid Cooled Chiller which exceeded 100 dBA above the unit. The noise levels in the basement mechanical room exceeded OSHA limits for worker safety and engineering controls were recommended for the Chiller Unit.
